Located on the outskirts of Milton is Woodstock, home to a 19th Century Cheese Factory which is now home to Milk Haus, a wholefoods cafe. OUR FOOD PHILOSOPHY
Good food makes you feel energised and alive. We believe if we can produce and serve food with minimal fuss, it’s bound to be better for you and the environment. Although we’re not certified organic, we aim to farm as nature intended, being c

onscious and respectful to the land, our bodies and those of our animal and insect comrades. What we can’t grow enough of in the garden, we source locally using a network of farmers, growers and fishermen. We aim to minimise wastage, feeding both the compost and the chooks in the process. Being sustainable and environmentally responsible not only makes us feel good, it makes good business sense. It means we serve food as it’s meant to be eaten. No toxins, preservatives or anything artificial. Just good, delicious, local food. THE GARDEN
Our vegetable garden provides a bounty of fresh, seasonal produce. It’s bordered by olive and citrus trees, heritage apple trees and raspberry canes. A whole bed is dedicated to fragrant herbs. Our garden team is always weeding, planning, sowing, planting and weeding some more to bring delicious produce from garden to table. It’s a true labour of love, one we hope you’ll appreciate on your plate. Around the corner is the beautiful heritage-listed chook pen, home to our lovely laying hens and Indian Runner ducks, the source of our beautiful eggs.

Our last 2 events coming up in June sold out in 7 days - so we are going live with another one folks. It’s fire cooking season so grab your friends and come along to this intimate event.

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon celebrating the beauty of slow cooking over open fire with Nat Taylor + the Milk HAUS team.
From land to ocean, every dish is thoughtfully prepared over flame, bringing out bold, rich flavours. With live music on the deck overlooking the Budawang ranges, gather with friends as your meal comes to life before your eyes. We’ll kick off with canapes, fire-kissed welcome cocktails + a generous, family-style feast that celebrates local produce, connection + good company.
This is more than a meal—it’s an experience. One filled with smoke, flavour, warmth + joy.

An action-packed weekend is rolling in for the Milton Folk, Jazz & Blues Festival 🎶

We’re kicking things off Friday from 4pm — wine in hand, bar snacks flowing, and The Honeymooners setting the tone with sunset jazz quartet vibes.

Saturday turns it up early:
Las Burkas inside the eatery at 10am, followed by Robyn Martin at 10:15.
Kiosk brekkie will be pumping (coffee in hand, always), before we roll into full lunch service from 12.

Lock in a deck table for George Washingmachine’s set, or slip inside for a beautifully intimate lunch with the incredible Genevieve Chadwick.

Good tunes, great food, and a buzzing Haus — come hungry, stay for the groove.
