24TH JULY - GLENREAGH

Kick off Glenreagh Timber Festival weekend with an unforgettable night of fire, flavour, live music and country hospitality at Picnic in the Paddock.

As the sun sets, grab a drink from the pay-as-you-go licensed bar, test your skills on the mechanical bull, gather around the fire pits and chat with our steam engine exhibitors as they prepare their mighty machines for the festival weekend ahead.

Then settle beneath our stretch marquee for a relaxed long-table banquet created by barbecue masters Chef Cedric Lopez and Chef Peter. Enjoy an incredible fire-cooked feast showcasing the best of the region, featuring local produce and flavours from Glenreagh Bakery, Critters Distillery, Coopers & The Golden Dog, and Hangry Wolf, alongside smoky barbecue favourites and dishes designed to be shared with friends, old and new.

As the feast rolls on, enjoy live performances from Katie Brooke & Band and country favourites Mak & Shar, before kicking up your heels on the dance floor or roasting your own s'mores over the flames.

Hosted by crowd favourite Mick Harrington, Picnic in the Paddock is more than dinner-it's an opportunity to gather around the fire, share a laugh, meet the characters behind the festival and experience the best of country life beneath a sky full of stars.

This is an 18+ licensed event with limited tickets available, creating an intimate atmosphere where guests can relax, connect and enjoy a unique festival experience before the main event begins. Tickets are available online, but be quick-numbers are strictly limited.
