Fire. Earth. Air. Water! Another successful experience celebrating all 4 elements by practicing mindful rituals before every meal and introducing participants to another world of living at a beautiful retreat in Katoomba!
As this was a detoxification retreat for Spring, I took inspiration from the Medical Medium Liver Rescue book so we started each day with lemon/lime water and celery juice, but then I added my own twist and Mindful Cooking flavours to all the other recipes, which was really well received by all participants...
One of them wrote:
“Thank you so much Lina for your wonderful hospitality and nourishing food. You are a beautiful soul that has so much to offer!
I’ve learnt so much from you and I can’t wait to bring some of the learnings into my home.
I look forward to seeing your book!”
Well, this retreat has certainly re-ignited my desire to finish writing and publishing my book, and it really helped to have participants so keen to have my recipes that they offered to type them during the retreat! So I’m a few steps closer...
Fresh from the Art of Hosting facilitator training in Canberra last week, I used some of the techniques at meal times to make a more intentional and meaningful experience out of every moment and I got to share my go-to cards for daily inspiration, my favourite poetry before we entered silence, and embodied practices to celebrate and reconnect with the elements...
