Just got back from a very quick trip home to New Zealand.

Seeing tassies farmland from the air was beautiful but also got me thinking 🤔

All the sweet peas I sowed in autumn finally making an appearance 9 months later.

Luckily I love growing flowers and this season hasn’t broken me yet 🫣

What’s been happening on the farm this month?

1. Cows growing bigger each day.
2. Yellow oyster mushrooms from
3. Rhododendron finally flowers after wondering what colour it will be since we moved here in Feb.
4. Lemon cake
5. Meat chickens growing rapidly
6. Summery sunsets
7. Seeding
8. More seeding
9. Fishing at the wharf of a rare day off
10. Lovely big eggs
11. Snap peas coming along nicely.

🤎 November 22nd we will be at the Turners Beach night market 4pm-8pm at the Turners Beach Cricket Club (put that in your calendar 🗓️)

We will have our waxed canvas garden bags, adults and children’s size! Perfect little Christmas gift, hand made and made to last. We make everything by hand so you don’t lose your snips in the garden 🌱

We will have tallow balm, eggs and flowers as well 🐓👩🏼‍🌾

Is there any interest in edible flowers any more?
Do people like the peppery taste of nasturtium?

Pondering these questions as I love growing food and I love growing flowers so naturally edible flowers are a passion 🤎

Sweet peas. They may be taking up 1/4 of the poly tunnel but they are worth it.

This variety doesn’t have a strong scent but it’s so beautiful it looks like it’s been hand painted.

Amazing to see our plans in action and actually working! Love having fertiliser spread on our pasture and fresh eggs as well.
