I’ve had a few queries about tank stands for our new 500 litre thin tank, so Wayne from Wayne’s World of Tools and I knocked up a couple of these for anyone who might be interested in that sort of thing.

Priced at $150, all treated pine with treated pine screws so they don’t rust out in a years time.

Big day today! Installation of 2 x 2000L “fat” Thin Tanks and 2 x garden pumps in Mullaloo. Should help with the flooding problems!

Not an ideal situation! It is best to have your pavers level before the installers come to install your tank!Thin Tanks look better when they sit flush to the wall.

This 4000 Litre Thin Tank and garden pump was installed in June in Dianella WA. It was fun for me because the client’s garden was filled with plants and treasures to discover whilst Clayton did all the hard work!

The downpipe was already removed but Clayton had to put in a poppet to connect the adapter to, he spent an hour or so working on it - awkward position to use the grinder.

The tank weighs about 200 kg and was too tall to go on the dolly to get to the installation position so we had to lay it down at one point. Thank goodness the client was there to help because even though Clayton is very strong, I am not!

A tricky first flush. This installation of a 3000 Litre Thin Tank went quite smooth once the soak well drain was moved and we figured out that there was room (and enough height) to put in the first flush which the customer really wanted. A job well done Clayton! Installed in Butler - so not too far from home!

Willetton WA Installation in April 2022. This 2000L Smooth Cream Thin Tank was installed in the carport to prevent flooding. We have been having some deadly downpours in Perth lately!

1000 Litre Heritage Green Thin Tank installed in Guildford yesterday. A bit of a tight squeeze, but that’s what these tanks are made for!
