β˜•οΈπŸ― COFFEE CREAMED HONEY
Slowly crafted. Exceptionally indulgent.

It begins with our own honey, patiently transformed into a velvety creamed honey through 2–3 weeks of slow, gentle turning.

Once perfectly creamed, we introduce a carefully selected dark-roasted coffee bean, finely milled exclusively for this creation.

Then we wait.

For another week of slow turning, allowing the coffee to become beautifully integrated throughout the honey β€” creating a rich, silky blend where deep roasted notes meet the natural sweetness of our honey.

The result is a truly indulgent experience.

Silky. Rich. Aromatic. Naturally sweet.

A slow-crafted pairing of our honey and exceptional coffee, made with patience rather than shortcuts.

From our hives, slowly crafted into something extraordinary. 🀎

🐝 Did you know that bees have different ways of pollinating flowers?

Pollination is much more than simply a bee visiting a flower. Different plants and their pollinators have developed specialised relationships that help plants reproduce.

πŸ”” Buzz pollination is a fascinating example. Some native bees in Western Australia can grip a flower and rapidly vibrate their flight muscles. These vibrations help release pollen from flowers where the pollen is tucked inside specialised structures. This technique is particularly important for plants in the tomato family and can also benefit crops such as tomatoes, peppers and blueberries.

🌼 Flower structure matters too. The size, shape and arrangement of a flower can determine which insects can reach its pollen and nectar. Some flowers are accessible to many pollinators, while others are suited to particular species.

πŸŒ™ Not all pollination happens during daylight hours. Some plants rely heavily on moths, beetles and other nocturnal visitors to transfer pollen between flowers.

🀍 Yucca plants have an extraordinary relationship with yucca moths. The female moth actively collects and transfers pollen between yucca flowers, while also laying her eggs in the developing flowers. This specialised interaction benefits both the plant and the moth.

The more we learn about pollination, the clearer it becomes that plants and insects are connected through incredibly specialised ecological relationships. 🌿🐝 Understanding these interactions also highlights why protecting native pollinators and their habitats is so important.
