A sneak peek at where the chickens 🐔 lay their eggs 🥚🥚🥚

While the chickens get to roam outside all day their preference is to lay eggs in a protected space, it’s only natural as they make easy prey in their natural environment. Particularly if they decide to sit on eggs to hatch (our hens do not run with roosters, so no fertile eggs /chickens ever).

We train them to lay in the designated roll away nest boxes inside the trailer for a few reasons.

1. Cleaner eggs
2. Less breakages
3. Easier collection (conveyor belt brings them to you.

It takes patience & persistence but it’s all worth it in the end for great quality eggs.
