South West Snails was a fantastic, innovative, unique idea, built from the ground up and grown with courage and intention. It became exactly what we believed it could be.

Like many businesses built from scratch, it took time, commitment, and patience to reach that point. When the opportunity arose for our family to move to Perth, we chose to step into that next chapter, knowing it was the right time to close this one.

This business taught us invaluable lessons in resilience and in trusting ourselves to build and grow without a rule book or guide. Those lessons don’t disappear. They evolve.

Today's Purpose & Passion featured author is Victoria Howe! ✨

Victoria Howe is the Director and Co-owner with her husband of South West Snails. They live with their three children on a 40-acre property in rural South West WA, and their dream of working from the farm in a sustainable business has now become a reality.

Since arriving in Australia from the UK, Victoria threw herself into community life and joined what felt like every community group going from Chamber of Commerce President to Agricultural show Secretary and Member of The Lions Club, from Board of Management to committee for Pony Club, Swim Club and Hockey Club, along with being an active member of the local Bush Fire Brigade.

Their dream though was to humbly work on their farm for themselves and become financially free, that’s it no thrills, no bells and whistles. What’s come with that dream and the hustle to get there is much more, with radio, and TV interviews, award nominations, public speaking, event invitations, newspaper articles and blogs. Representing women in farming and agriculture, new industry and choosing to go right not left. Maybe their goal will change, but for now they have hit the ground running and are loving every minute.

Soooo I wrote a book! Well a chapter in a book 📕. My Chapter is called Take the Leap and it’s about how I did just that, how to navigate some adult stuff like friends and not friends, happiness, routine and much more.

It’s called Purpose and Passion and it’s available now for Pre-Order 🤩

I am so excited to be a published author a bucket list item ticked. It’s given me a bit of a taste for it so watch this space.

Deep fried snails! With Chilli sauce this was also a hit. Especially to kids that had no idea it was a snail 🐌
