This is Violet 🤍

Violet was the very first commercial Speckle Park cow I ever purchased, so she has always held a pretty special place here.

During the very dry period last year, I made the difficult decision to move on all of my commercial cows… but when it came to Violet, I just couldn’t say goodbye. 🥹

So she stayed.

These days she happily runs alongside my stud girls, and right now she is very heavily pregnant. She’s moving a little slower, taking life at her own pace and looking more ready to pop by the day! 🐮🤍

It won’t be long now until we get to meet Violet’s newest little calf. I think this will be an extra special one. ❤️

Some cows are more than just cattle — they become part of the story. Violet is certainly one of mine.

One of my favourite things about walking outside in the morning… finding my stud heifers waiting at the fence to say good morning 🐮🤎

I swear they’re only here for their slice of bread 🍞😂… but I like to think they’re actually excited to see me and just popped over to say hi.

Either way, it’s a pretty lovely way to start the day. 🌾☀️

Keeping up the roughage during this beautiful spring season 🌱🐮

With plenty of lush green feed around, the bloat blocks are out as an extra precaution too.

Happy cattle, full bellies and plenty of spring growth ahead! 💚

📸 When the cattle are just as happy to pose as I am to take the photos! 🤍🖤

Our Speckle Parks are such a chilled-out bunch — calm, curious and always ready for their close-up. 🐮🌿

Winston and Wally are growing out beautifully and are now almost 12 months old. 🤎

With spring just around the corner, I’m really looking forward to watching these two hit their spring growth and seeing how they continue to develop over the coming months. 🌱☀️

Winston and Wally are both still available for purchase, so if you’ve had your eye on either of these handsome boys, please feel free to get in touch for more information.

For now, we’ll keep enjoying watching them grow! 🐑🌿

Rainy days on the farm don’t always mean slowing down… sometimes they mean catching up on the paperwork ☔💻

42mls since 4am and the rain is still rolling in across Stoneleigh. While the paddocks get a well-needed drink, today’s office has a view of wet weather and cattle registrations.

Farm life is all about balance — one minute out in the mud, the next behind the laptop making sure everything is up to date. 🌧️🐄📋
