Yarrandale Pony Stud

I have been informed that the beautiful gelding Yarrandale Cavalier was farewelled today at the grand age of 29.

Cavalier was by Nattai Padarn out of Rhyl Gala (who we purchased as a foal at foot of Twyford Carousel imp).

Cavalier was a kind children's pony for his current owners and had been a very good harness pony for us prior to that..

Yarrandale Roscoe attended the Leeton show on Saturday. First time out in the break cart. Had to wait until the afternoon as his fellow Yarrandale ponies shone in led and ridden classes.

Champion turnout, champion pony in harness under 14 hh. Then supreme harness exhibit. Thenk you to Belinda who groomed, Jake Baker and the Wonga Lea Stables crew.

Congratulations to Kerrie Whitby and her helpers for putting such a good program for the harness and the other competitors for ensuring it was a good day.

He was also sashed reserve champion ridden breed in a very strong class.

Ace hasn’t been out in the show ring since he was a 3yo and took everything all in his stride and proved what a good boy he is.
