Great way to kick off your weekend. The autumn rains has brought us a wonderful flush of farm fresh strawberries and they are magnificent.
Ripened on the runners to perfection, these are sweet and aromatic and taste as good as they look.
Come and grab some to give a sweet kick to your Friday.

Beautiful sunny days in the Hilltops Region sees some great fruit being picked at Eastlake's Family Tree with our fresh back in stock this morning.
It's been difficult to keep up with demand over the last few weeks and it's easy to see why!
A beautiful deep red colour, lovely and aromatic, these are just beautiful and have really benefited from the recent rains couples with the lovely Hilltops sun.

Available freshly pitted or frozen, pitted cherries are great if you are looking to store some Hilltops Region cherries for the offseason or plan on baking up a storm of jam, pies, sauce or want to fill your pantry with lovely preserved cherries.
Usually we only have just enough for our pitted cherry orders and for ourselves but this year we will have some surplus this week. However, these will go fast.

I see you!
Good word of wisdom from one of the leaders of the cherry growing community was that when you look down your rows of trees and could see the cherries - they weren't ready to pick.
When you looked down the rows and couldn't see the cherries, they were ready to go. That's because they had darkened so that the shade of the tree leaves made them hard to spot.
Good advice.

Cooler day today and some cooler days ahead. Great time for early morning packing of fresh Australian Cherries in the Hilltops Region

this weekend!
You wouldn't know it this week, but up until now it has been a long slow, cool weather season this year and this has meant out cherries are going to stretch right into the weekend and beyond our usual pick your own finish date. That's amazing!
It is going to be hot Saturday, but the picking is still great and the cooler weather Sunday will be a real treat on what might be our last pick-your-own weekend for the year.
Our regular picking continues as well and we have been in the orchard picking today - even with the heat - and still have lots of fresh Eastlake's in stock.
If you are travelling around to Visit NSW or are in the region to Visit Canberra or Visit Canberra or passing through the Hilltops Region - don't miss your opportunity to grab your fresh Australian Cherries the freshest way possible - straight from the tree (or straight from the farm shop if you want us to have done the work for you!)
It is not often that we go this late, but that's what the season has given us, so come and enjoy the Australian Cherry season before it concludes.
It only comes once a year!
And we're about to move into our next variety of Peach and plum very soon, so plenty of stonefruit to enjoy as well!
