Fuel filter with no service interval listed!! Well before my time you bought a machine and it came with tools a workshop manual and dealer support. Now fuel filter on end of pump in tank and change if you notice power loss but replace your fuel hoses every 5 years. Dont replace your fuel filter that isnt mentioned in the owners manual and risk burning out the fuel pump.

Tricky starting problem. Battery good, wiring good double checked looking for voltage drop, newish starter motor. Tractor only just started when warm later in the day. From new the starter motor had been thrown together and had a clip hammered onto the end of the shaft very tight taking horsepower from the starter motor. Should be a slip in fit. Machined a bit off in the lathe, greased up and tractor starts like new now.

Mahindra tractor service at Nimmitabel this morning. Owner hasn't been happy with other mechanics so contacted us to get a proper service from a mahindra mechanic. Decided to come back home the short way and get flowers for the girls too.

Bit dry at the moment. Hopefully this only ever gets used to shift water and not for fire fighting. Off to the new owner...

Mice and wiring. Not the first time in this one by the look of it. Best ive seen was rats in a Landini chewing half way through the wiring going into the cab. Luckily was fixable with alot of soldering and finding the correct colour wires to reconnect. I got the call when the tractor wouldn't drive because the forward reverse shuttle wires got chewed through

Always something to repair and something ive never seen before to keep things interesting. Little truck sheered the brake caliper off and just rattled around using the wheel to keep it on
