Montarna SheepMaster Stud Home of Australia's newest shedding sheep near Hamilton Vic. Bred for Australia's tough conditions, Gary and Judy Doyle have long experience with wool sheep.

By 2018, they decided they needed a tough, resilient type of sheep, with strong constitution, good legs and feet and high fertility as well as being a shedder. After shearing for most of his working life, Gary had no intention of having to shear sheep again. They now have a thriving daughter stud of the new SheepMaster breed, and are thrilled with the hardiness, fertility and productivity of the animal.

Montarna sheepmaster Stud is officially closing down as of now mostly due to heailth issues.
We will no longer be breeding rams for sale but we will remain commercial sheepmaster breeders.
We would like to thank all of our clients for their amazing support.
We would also thank and wish all the best to the sheepmaster family, in particular David, Mike and Phil as our partners in crime.
We still believe that Sheepmaster is the future star of shedding sheep.
