Увлекшись поначалу рыбалкой и охотой, основатель хозяйства стал все чаще задаваться вопросами типа: насколько натуральны продукты, которые мы едим? Почему импортные фрукты, взятые в 7 дневный поход, выглядят точно также, как и в день покупки? Х

орошо ли это или плохо? Где то, знакомое с детства многообразие различных сортов фруктов и овощей? Разбирая старые книги, доставшиеся от дедушки, он натолкнулся на его научные труды, посвященные культивированию местных сортов риса. Эта находка и дала первый импульс в развитие идеи основания биодинамического сельского хозяйства на своей ферме в Ленкорани, функционирующего исключительно на принципах натурального земледелия и спроектированного как гармоничная экосистема.
Особенностью Razı Rıce, является то, что на земельном участке, на котором возделывается рис, свыше 30 лет абсолютно не использовались никакие химикаты и удобрения. Это - рис в его первозданном виде, каждый проросший росток вручную сажали в воду с почвой. Он не отшлифован, т.е. он не поддавался дополнительной машинной обработке, а значит - в нем сохранены самые полезные твердые рисовые оболочки, содержащие большое количество клетчатки, белков, витаминов группы В, кальция, железа, магния, марганца, калия, фосфора, цинка. Известно, что необработанный, бурый рис особенно богат клетчаткой, минералами и витаминами. The private farm, located in Lenkoran, the south of the country, is established and run in accordance with the permaculture principles i.e. agricultural and social design principles aimed at utilizing patterns and features observed in natural ecosystems. The farm and its owners are dedicated enthusiasts involved in reviving rice varieties, traditional for the region. The concept of SlowFood is shared by the farm owners, who are also the committed followers of the Masanobu Fukuoka’s natural farming philosophy. Lenkoran region with its extremely picturesque scenery has a rich flora and fauna. The region is located in the hot-summer Mediterranean (sub-tropical) climate zone. This rice is grown manually by planting the seedlings into soil, using no pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilizers during the process; the rice is also manually harvested and threshed. The rice grain with its nutrient-dense bran and germ unpolished, and known as a brown rice, is full of rice essential nutrients and is extremely healthy, containing fiber, minerals, such as phosphorus, magnesium, zinc and vitamins, especially the B-complex group. Razı Rıce – is best for healthy food-cautious families: for those with gluten sensitivity, rice is a wheat- and gluten-free alternative to pasta, bread and wheat-based cereals; for people following vegetarian or vegan diets; is perfect baby food
Note: you may use it to prepare your favorite rice dishes: all types of pilafs, risotto, Asian-style rice and other rice garnishes. Rice needs to be rinsed well several times before cooking.

Our Story

Razi Rice is a 100% local product made in Azerbaijan at the private family farm, located in Lenkoran, the south of the country, which is established and run in accordance with the permaculture principles. The farm and its owners are dedicated enthusiasts involved in reviving rice varieties, traditional for the region. The concept of SlowFood is shared by the farm owners, who are also the committed followers of the Masanobu Fukuoka’s natural farming philosophy. This Hashimi rice is grown by planting the seedlings into soil, using no pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilizers during the process. The rice grain with its nutrient-dense bran and germ unpolished, and known as a brown rice, is full of rice essential nutrients and is extremely healthy, containing fiber, minerals, such as phosphorus, magnesium, zinc and vitamins, especially the B-complex group.
