Proizvodnjom piva počeli smo se baviti prije 2 godine. U to vrijeme proizvodili smo jako male količine, degustirali s prijateljima i osmišljavali najbolje recepte, te radili na vizualnom identitetu craft piva koje smo željeli plasirati na tržište. Ciljali smo da bude nešto što ima veze sa našom strasti prema snowboardu, da zvuči sarajevsko, bosansko a opet neobično i nečuveno za ijedno pivo koje s

mo čuli da postoji. I tako je nastao Gelender - iz strasti prema snowboardu i svim sportovima koji podrazumijevaju kretanje na stranu na nekom obliku daske (snowboard, wakeboard, skateboard, longboard, kiteboard..). Život u pokretu nas je i doveo do kućnog pivarstva. Gelender je rukohvat koji često srećemo na sarajevskim (i bosanskim) ulicama. U snowboardu postoji disciplina, odnosno vještina spuštanja po takvim rukohvatima bilo da se radi o bordanju na ulici ili zvaničnim sportskim takmičenjima. Spuštanje niz gelender je disciplina koja zahtijeva savršen odnos brzine, vještine i stila, upravo kao što je potreban savršen omjer slada, kvasca i hmelja da bi ste dobili vrhunsko pivo, kao što je Gelender. We have started with the production of beer in 2014. At that time we produced a very small amounts, tasted it with friends and devising the best recipes, and worked on the visual identity of the craft beers that we would like to put on the market. We wanted to be something that has to do with our passion for snowboarding, it sounds from Sarajevo, Bosnia and yet unusual and unheard of for either beer that we have heard that there is. And so there was Gelender - from passion for snowboarding and all sports that involve standing sideways at some form of boards (snowboard, wakeboard, skateboard, longboard, kiteboard ...). Gelender is a handrail that is often seen on Sarajevo (and Bosnia's) streets. In snowboarding there is discipline, and skill at landing such handrails whether it is about snowboarding on the street or official sports competitions. Sliding down the Gelender is a discipline that requires a perfect balance of the speed, skill and style, just as you need perfect balance of malt, yeast and hops to get great beer, like Gelender.
