Sand mine to Food Forest: our products.
Our on ground transition started in 2015 as we began regenerating the soil with our particular pattern of plants, both deep rooted and nitrogen fixers . You can view out patterns on our website www.walkersreserve.com. To generate our plants we now have a large on site nursery with 4 full time employees. We sometimes have an excess of certain fruit trees.....we now have a few for sale...need any? We follow all the organic principles while we rebuild the soil. Our particular pattern of planting includes bananas and figs, root crops and fruit trees that all play a part in our regenerative process. Our current fruit and root production is a byproduct of our regeneration and we have an abundance that is now for sale to the public. To pollinate our plants we need bees. Our staff have taken bee keeping courses and we will soon have honey for sale....as our systems fall into place we will be locking carbon into the soil and creating a climate change adapted site..... as we embark on this regenerative journey we invite the public to support us by sharing our page and coming in to purchase our products...
