For that perfectly moist, delicious turkey on Christmas Day, follow our tried and tested guide to brining!
1. Place your turkey in water until fully submerged.
2. Use 1 cup of salt, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of vinegar and optional herbs and black pepper to create your brine.
3. Cover over, place in the fridge and leave to brine for at least 8 hours

There are 3 ways to thaw a turkey;

1. The Fridge. Allow approx 24 hours per 5 lbs of bird to thaw fully.
2. Water. Allow 30 mins per lb of turkey, and make sure to keep it wrapped up to avoid cross contamination.
3. Microwave. If it fits, check the microwave guide for how to defrost properly.
