White fly is the biggest enemy for those of us growing thyme one day you can have a bounteous looking thyme and the next day you wake up and it is dead .The test to know if you have white fly is, brush your plant with a stick if you see anything fly off that is white fly.Effective treatment can be tricky because of its life cycle .

When I started growing thyme as a business my first crop all died because I had no clue I was in the dark there was no on to tell me any thing about it so I started to study and observe it closely I bought thyme from the supermarket and grew it and recognize the different varieties because of my background in horticulture . I am better equipped to deal with thyme now however there is so much more to learn inorder to keep my product healthy and growing well .
