Patisserie Melba recently created this dessert table for a lovely couple's wedding. The bride wanted desserts and sweets that are well-liked by all,,,and there had to be an infusion of rum somewhere:-)
I absolutely loved creating this dessert table, baking all the elements that went to put it together and most of all, putting it all on display.
Desserts included chocolate cupcakes,red velvet cupcakes, brownies, lemon cake balls, rum chocolate cake balls, lemon cookies...for candy there were strawberry mentos, hersheys kisses and strawberry lollipops. The wedding cake was a 3-tiered vanilla cake with rough-finished buttercream icing and hand-made icing roses. The colour of the dessert table was pale pink, pastels and a overall vintage look and feel. ...take a look.
