A Refreshing Start to Kebab & Curry, Banani 🍃
We had the pleasure of trying the Salted Mint Lassi from Kebab & Curry, Banani, and it was wonderfully refreshing! Creamy, perfectly salted, and infused with a cool minty flavor that makes it an ideal drink for Dhaka’s weather. A great balance of taste and freshness — definitely worth trying.

An Exclusive First Taste | Kebab & Curry (Kebab & Curry), Banani

Some invitations feel a little more special than others.

We had the pleasure of attending the exclusive trial run of Kebab & Curry's upcoming Banani branch, where the team is currently fine-tuning every detail ahead of its official opening. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience the menu before the doors open to the public.

Here's what we had the pleasure of trying:

🌿 Palak Chicken
🧈 Reshmi Butter Masala
🥘 Lohori Mutton Karahi
🍚 Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani
🥩 Beef Chapli Kebab

Every dish reflected careful preparation, balanced flavours, and a genuine passion for authentic cuisine.

The Beef Chapli Kebab was undoubtedly the standout—beautifully charred on the outside, incredibly juicy within, and packed with rich, smoky flavours.

The Lohori Mutton Karahi featured melt-in-your-mouth mutton in a deeply aromatic gravy that paired wonderfully with freshly baked naan.

The Palak Chicken was creamy, comforting, and elegantly balanced, while the Reshmi Butter Masala offered a velvety texture with subtle sweetness and warmth.

The Paneer Tikka carried a delightful smoky finish, remaining soft and flavourful throughout.

To complete the experience, the Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani impressed with fragrant long-grain rice, tender mutton, and beautifully layered spices without feeling overly rich.

Beyond the food itself, the presentation, portions, and overall attention to detail left a lasting impression. Considering this was only a trial service, the consistency was genuinely commendable.

A heartfelt thank you to the team at Kebab & Curry for the warm hospitality and the opportunity to be among the first to experience what's coming to Banani.

If this preview is any indication, Banani is about to welcome another promising destination for lovers of authentic kebabs and Mughlai cuisine.

Looking forward to visiting again once the doors officially open.

There's something magical about food wrapped in leaves—the aroma, the smokiness, the love. 🍃🦐
Today, it's all about my Chingri Paturi—plump prawns marinated in a rich coconut spice paste, wrapped in banana leaves, and slow-cooked to perfection. The slight char on the leaf, the sweetness of coconut, the kick of mustard and green chilies—it's a flavor bomb in every bite! 😍
