It all started with a mother’s determination a relentless fight for safe food, not just for her own child but for every family in Bangladesh.
Jesmin Akhtar Neela turned her personal struggle into a movement. A movement that is now called Shondhibazar a farm-to-table revolution ensuring safe, chemical-free food for all.
But she didn’t do it alone.

And today, the world recognizes this impact!
Shondhibazar has been awarded the “Most Impactful Business” by the Truvalu GLI Program, supported by Switzerland - a recognition of the unstoppable force of women behind this movement.
From the women farmers nurturing our land to the women managing our Safe Food Experience Centers, every step of this journey has been driven by fearless women.
Because when women lead, entire communities rise.
Her vision expanded beyond just groceries. She built পানকৌড়ি An Indigenous Dine Out, বনেদি বাজার Bonedi Bazar, বনেদি Bonedi restaurant and IKIGAI A Pan Asian Restaurant, each upholding the same commitment to safe, authentic, and wholesome food.
Today, we celebrate them. Today, we honor their strength.
