Belgian Beer Weekend travels to Venice in 2026!

Founded in 1998 on Brussels’ iconic Grand-Place, the Belgian Beer Weekend has grown into the world’s most authentic and prestigious celebration of Belgian beer culture. For more than 25 years, it has transformed one of Europe’s most beautiful squares into a living temple of beer.

In 2026, the Belgian Beer Weekend will travel for its first European edition to Venice. (April 18–20)

Supported by the Belgian Brewers Federation and the Knighthood of the Belgian Brewers’ Paddle, this three-day event celebrates the richness, values, and cultural importance of Belgian beer heritage. The 2026 edition is even more special as it marks the 10th anniversary of UNESCO’s recognition of Belgian beer culture as Intangible Cultural Heritage.

For three days, visitors will enjoy tastings, discovery, networking, and a unique immersion into what makes Belgian beer far more than a drink:

a vibrant cultural tradition. 🍺🍺🍺

The programme concludes on monday with a dedicated B2B day, welcoming professionals and Italian beer ambassadors, including a ceremonial enthronement by the Knighthood.
