We get asked about our brew recipes a lot, so here’s one we use every day at the roastery.

The Hario Switch is our go-to for filter coffee. It combines the clarity of a V60 with the immersion of a French press, giving you a lot of control over the final cup with a method that’s forgiving enough for everyday brewing.

Swipe through for each step ☕

And if you try it at home, let us know what you think, we’d love to hear how it turns out!

The seasonal range is where we get to slow down and really listen to what a coffee has to say.

Every lot in this range is a single origin micro lot, chosen because it has something worth saying. A terroir, a process, a producer whose work deserves to be heard. This is where we get to shine a light on the people behind the cup, and make sure their story travels all the way to your brew.

Our job is to roast it in a way that doesn’t get in the way. That means lighter roast profiles, designed to let each origin’s full aromatic range come through. These coffees find their best expression as filter. A V60, a slow pour, a quiet moment. The kind of brewing that rewards attention.

New seasonals are here! And this time, we have three very different cups to share with you.

🇷🇼 Rwanda Mbare — Rwanda is an origin we find hit or miss. This one is everything we love about it. Intensely sweet, with a deep purple grape quality that hits immediately, and a floral hibiscus finish that lingers. A natural that feels effortless in the cup.
Grape soda · Mixed berries · Hibiscus

🇧🇮 Burundi Ninga Hill — Our second year with Long Miles Coffee, a partnership we’re building for the long term. This washed Red Bourbon from Ninga Hill is everything we love about Burundian coffee. Bright, juicy, and beautifully balanced.
Lemon candy · Blueberry · Ripe plum

🇬🇹 Guatemala El Panal — Second time sourcing with The Good Sourcing in Guatemala, and this is exactly the profile I love from this country. Opens deep and chocolatey, then slowly gives way to darker fruit with just enough brightness to keep things interesting.
Chocolate praline · Blackberry · Redcurrant

All three available now at boocoffeeroasters.com ☕

This is exactly what sourcing means to us.

Long Miles Coffee has spent over a decade embedded in Burundi’s farming communities, building washing stations, training farmers, and proving that quality and real impact at origin aren’t a compromise. They’re the perfect example of what we look for when we source.

This year, we’re back working with them for the second time. A washed Red Bourbon from the Ninga Hill, in the Kayanza region, and it delivers everything we love about Burundian coffee. Bright, balanced, with notes of lemon candy, blueberry, and ripe plum.

This one is special to us. And we think you’ll feel it in the cup.

Amsterdam, we did it again. 🇳🇱

What a few days at the the conversations, the people, the energy. Every year this festival reminds us why we love what we do.

And this year felt extra special. Debuting the new Boo at the Roaster Village and seeing the reaction to the rebrand was everything we could have hoped for. The warmth and excitement from everyone we met means more than we can say, it really feels like people are ready to be part of this new chapter with us, and that’s the best feeling.

We also made sure to experience the local culture properly. Kroket. Obviously. 🥐😅

More soon, but for now, thank you Amsterdam. See you next year!

We don’t release washed Geishas from Peru every week.

But when we find one that tastes like this, we have to!

This one comes from Las Pirias and it’s everything we love about the variety:
floral, tea-like, elegant, with notes of white tea, white peach, and a soft dried lemon and floral finish.

It’s clean. It’s bright. It’s expressive.
And somehow… it’s 18€.

No tricks. No over-processing.
Just a beautifully grown and carefully washed Geisha that drinks like spring in a cup.

If you’re into clarity and delicate profiles, this one’s for you.

✨ NEW GEM DROP ✨

This is our third time sourcing from the Bayter family this year, and we’re absolutely in love with their work.

This lot is made from the rare Papayo variety and bursts with syrupy sweetness and bright, tropical acidity. Think grenadine, mango, juicy berries… We literally can’t get enough of it!

As always with our Gem series, quantities are limited. Don’t sleep. 😴

NEW GEM RELEASE ✨

We’ve just added a really special coffee to our Gem range: a natural Wush Wush from , sourced through our friends .

This is a long awaited release, as Wush Wush has always been Benoît’s favourite variety, so we’ve been quietly waiting for the right one to come along, and this one is just hitting all the spots!

The cup is super sweet and layered. Honeydew melon right up front, followed by sharp citrus notes of kumquat and candied orange.

A coffee you don’t want to miss.
