🍇 Vineyard Update – Part 3

Last week’s hailstorm left some visible damage, but our vines are already pushing out new growth. 🌱

Now we’re watching closely to see how this year’s grape clusters develop. With the rain behind us and sunshine back in the forecast, we’re feeling optimistic about the weeks ahead. ☀️🍇

🍇 Vineyard Update: Flowering Season

Last time, we showed you shoot removal. Now the vines have entered one of the most critical stages of the growing season: flowering.

🌼 During flowering, each tiny flower needs to be successfully pollinated to develop into a grape berry. For that, we need dry weather and calm conditions.

🌧️ Unfortunately, the current rainy weather is far from ideal. Excess rain during flowering can reduce fruit set, resulting in fewer berries per bunch and potentially affecting the final harvest.

🤞 For now, there’s little we can do except keep monitoring the vineyard and hope for some drier days ahead.

🍷 Follow along as we document every stage of the growing season on our way to the 2026 harvest!

🍇 Welcome to our vineyard series!

Over the coming months, we’ll take you behind the scenes and show you exactly what happens in the vineyard throughout the growing season - all the way to the 2026 harvest.

🌱 Today’s episode is all about shoot removal. We remove excess shoots to create more space between the remaining ones, improving air circulation and sunlight exposure. This helps keep the vines healthier and creates the best conditions for the grapes that will eventually become our 2026 vintage.

✨ Flowering is just around the corner, and these tiny clusters are the future grapes of our 2026 harvest.

🍷 Follow along as we document every stage of the growing season from now on, right through to harvest!

Blending is not just mixing wines 🍷✨

Each tank brings something different - fruit, structure, freshness. The challenge is not adding more, but knowing when it’s enough.

A few percentage more or less can completely change the wine. Balance is everything ⚖️

Most blends don’t work at first. That’s the part of the process.

What do you think about our new blend? 🍷✨

Belgian wine may have broken records in 2025 - but making more wine is only one part of the story 🍇

What matters just as much is selling it, building identity, and giving people a reason to choose your bottle again. That’s why we focus so much on wines with their own character, including new grape varieties that can give Belgian wine a more unique voice 🇧🇪✨

Not just more wine. More meaning. More distinction. More reasons to drink Belgian 🍷🥹
