Our second stop during day one of Toer de Geuze Weekend on Friday, May 8th, 2026, was Boerenerf in Huizingen. I first wrote about Boerenerf in DrinkBelgianBeer in 2022 in this article: https://drinkbelgianbeer.com/breweries/het-boerenerf-eylenbosch-belgiums-new-lambic-blendery
Boerenerf was having a new bottle release that day, and also, a Dusty Bottle Tasting, which began at 5 pm. We were able to taste more than a dozen older fruited and infused lambics and oude geuzes. It was a special tasting, and at a mere 15 euros each! The tasting started with Senne Eylenbosch opening a jeroboam of six year old Oude Geuze, which was delicious! It was a really interesting tasting, and much enjoyed by the attendees. Boerenerf has really been doing interesting lambics, ciders, and oude geuze blends since they opened in 2020, and they just keep getting better.
