Maar dit jaar pakken we het een tikkeltje anders aan. In plaats van ons vertrouwde grote format, gaan we dit jaar voor een exclusieve 1-night FERMexperience. Een uniek concept op zich én een allereerste teaser naar onze grote FERMexperience in 2027. Zie het als een soort van pre-launch event. 🌶️

If anyone knows what a true FERM party looks like, it’s Emily and Dylan. For years, they’ve been familiar faces on our team as flexible crew members. But this time, they were on the other side of the bar. Welcome to their very own 'Rollercoaster Romance': a custom, fancy funfair built around everything that makes them uniquely them.

The idea started right at home, as Emily and Dylan live in the Plezantstraat. I have no idea why I originally wrote this down in capital letters, but it turned out to be crucial. Add their love for themed parties with karaoke, tons of glitter, dressing up, and a high-energy party vibe, and the foundation for their funfair concept was set. But it went even further…

Dylan is a gamer at heart, and anyone familiar with GTA knows the iconic Santa Monica Pier—a place famous for its amusement park packed with rides. On top of that, they chose 'West Coast' by Imagine Dragons for their first dance. As you can feel, everything came together so beautifully that we just couldn't ignore the funfair concept. The instantly recognizable Santa Monica arch naturally became a recurring element in the design.

From fresh pizzas, haute dogs, warm popcorn, and cotton candy to a nostalgic candy bar: the funfair vibe was palpable at every moment. And the experience went way beyond the food. Guests tried their luck at a claw machine filled with fun personalized socks, tested their fiery passion at the love tester, sang their hearts out at karaoke, and raised a glass to their favorite cocktails during Happy Hour.

And that name, Rollercoaster Romance? It refers to life itself, of course. Life is a rollercoaster full of steep drops and unexpected turns, but as long as you're sitting in the front car together, it’s one big, incredible ride.

Het had zo simpel gekund: even snel een paar tapijten online bestellen. Maar 'gewoon' staat niet in onze woordenboek. Als het plaatje in ons hoofd zit, gaan we all-in, ook als dat betekent dat we de tapijten zelf maken in 32 graden. ☀️🥵

Alles voor de perfecte sfeer op ons nieuwste event volgende week: Escape the Ratrace. 4 dagen om te vertragen, op te laden en de dagelijkse rush achter je te laten. En ja, dat vraagt om een setting die tot in de kleinste details klopt.

THE RUMOURS ARE TRUE: Escape the Ratrace is back! 🌶️

We kennen het allemaal: die constante stroom aan prikkels en moetjes, een overvolle agenda en de dagelijkse rush waarin we altijd maar 'aan' moeten staan. Welkom in de ratrace. 🌶️

In het verleden probeerden we al eens een kleinschalige ontsnapping te organiseren, maar we voelden dat het nog niet écht FERM was. Dus hebben we de plannen volledig herbouwd. Deze zomer pakken we het anders aan: groter, impulsiever en 100% FERM. 🌶️

Van woensdag 8 juli tot en met zaterdag 11 juli 2026 transformeren we een waanzinnige, outdoor oase in het groen in Paulatem om tot de ultieme plek voor decompressie. 🌶️

Wat mag je verwachten?
Geen strakke uurroosters, wel de pure vrijheid. Denk aan live cooking sessions, slow food, frisse drankjes, lofi vibes, infinity views en outdoor games. Maar de échte escape? Dat zijn de impulsieve ingevingen en 'waarom-ook-niet'-momenten die ter plekke ontstaan. Prikkels die je uitdagen om te leven in het moment. 🌶️

De verdeling is alvast simpel.
