It was a year in which I turned big dreams into reality — becoming fully independent and buying a home of my own. A year filled with challenges, growth, and goals achieved.
It was also a year where I dove even deeper into the beauty of Italy as a wine country. I’m grateful for the new connections, the wines I had the chance to discover, and the opportunities that came my way.

At the beginning of October, I was invited by Nyetimber to discover their estate and taste their wines. The terroir in England shares remarkable similarities with that of Champagne.
Recently, Nyetimber won two major awards at the International Wine Challenge
🏆 Champion Sparkling Wine (the first time in the competition’s history that a non-Champagne wine has taken this top prize.)
🥂 Sparkling Winemaker of the Year (for the second time!)
I am completely convinced of the quality and finesse of their products and highly recommend every sommelier to get to know this exceptional winery.

At the beginning of July, I went on a wine trip to the Ahr region in Germany.
This area was hit hard by extreme rainfall in the summer of 2021, causing massive destruction. Some wineries lost everything and had to start from scratch.
Four years later, the region is still in the process of rebuilding. I truly admire the mindset and positivity of some of the winemakers there.
I was lucky enough to visit three iconic producers and taste their wines.
For me, the Ahr is one of the most exceptional wine regions when it comes to Pinot Noir. ♥️🍇.
