After another deep dive into the warehouse, I felt it was time to release the following hidden gem into the wild!

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Rich, full and expressive, bursting with aromas of mirabelle plums, greengages, freshly baked white bread, pastry dough, delicate grassy esters and zesty lemon tart.

Palate: A continuation of the nose, with greater intensity and vibrancy. Peppery spice emerges, intertwining beautifully with the citrus notes, bread dough and ye**ty characteristics.

Finish: Full-bodied and rounded, with a subtle sweetness and a harmonious interplay of fruit, spice and distinctive ester-driven notes.

💥💥Out Now: Glenrothes 17 Years Old [The Artist Collection No.8 - Dave Donné / Silent Ambassador] 💥💥

Another distinctive selection and a Work Of Art, distilled in the year 2007 and bottled in May 2025. This whisky has spend its entire life in a Monbazillac Barrique which makes this a rare and unique expression. A luscious drop of Liquid Gold, drawn from one single cask and bottled at 53.7% abv.

Monbazillac is a white wine from southwestern France, near Bergerac in the Dordogne region and known for being sweet and rich, made from grapes affected by noble rot, similar in style to famous dessert wines like Sauternes.

Selected to clearly demonstrate that there is absolutely nothing — and we truly mean nothing — wrong with a GOOD blend.
While many well-known brands offer blended whiskies, popularity varies depending on individual taste preferences and drinking habits. A decent blend is far from a simple bulk product; it is a carefully crafted composition, expertly assembled to create distinctive and refined flavour profiles.

This Art of Blending marks the 5th release in the series, showcasing the mastery and craftsmanship behind the blending process. Upon pouring, you can expect the following tasting notes:

A generous opening of fudge and crème brûlée leads the way, unfolding into smooth, rounded notes of dried almonds and walnuts. As the whisky is allowed to breathe, delicate hints of smoke emerge, gradually followed by gentle peat. Left undisturbed in the glass, the sweetness and smoky peat character slowly intertwine, creating a beautifully balanced and harmonious aroma.

The palate reveals a rich, creamy texture, driven by the grain whisky, which coats the tongue with a delicate layer of sweetness. With time on the palate, malty undertones and refined biscuit notes gradually develop. Vanilla emerges distinctly on the second sip, before the pronounced influence of sherry cask maturation takes centre stage. Nuances of almond biscuits, nutmeg, and a subtle hint of cinnamon persist elegantly, carrying through to a medium-long and resonant peaty finish.
