DUNE & MOSS brings together a curated selection of independent designers creating distinctive lighting and objects. A home, a shelter, a refuge.

Every piece is original, produced in small series, and showcased in our showroom on the Belgian coast, in Knokke-Le-Zoute. A safe place to be after a turbulent journey. A place where people meet to share their travel adventures, show each other their finds, and prepare for their next trip. A time to drink and eat and talk, talk about the new flavours of other cultures and distant travels. Each HAV

N has its own distinct character, flavours and sounds, its culture and nature… Each HAVN sounds, smells and tastes different… typical and unique…. HAVN has launched four different gins in the flavours and fragrances that represent the four corners of the world. Gins that, through their flavours, take you to different places, different customs, rituals and people. Thanks to HAVN gin, you can relive those memories time and again. Wherever you are, you always take a piece of the world with you.

Meet our first designer koen van guijze

Koen Van Guijze has spent three decades shaping how we experience light. In 2016, unable to find fixtures with the tactility he had in mind, he began making his own.

Each piece is hand-forged in steel, then heated and burnished until the metal takes on a quiet, blue glow. The imperfections stay visible, by design. It is a philosophy he has long lived by: that true refinement lies not in flawlessness, but in honesty of material and hand.

His work has since traveled well beyond Belgium, recognized by Dezeen and Yellowtrace, and carried by the bigger brands to a global audience.

Koen Van Guijze is the first designer represented by Dune & Moss, and the foundation of the collection.
