Description/Flavour Profile: You know them, you love them. TDL! We’re running out of things to say when it comes to these casks, but we’re guessing by now not a lot needs to be said. At 61.7% ABV cask strength this is a tropical fruit powerhouse with everything you’ve come to expect from our TDL selections. From the classic Peach and saffron to the added mint and clove notes on the finish.

Vintage/age: 2000 - 25 years old (almost 26!)
Cask Type: refill barrel

Description/Flavour Profile: Another first timer for us. We’ve never been big on the Bajan style of rum. It’s often too coconutty and has difficulty leaving the fruit intact compared to some of the other styles. This Rockley style rum, based on make from the legendary still of the same name, is very much a different breed however. It has a concentration and that slight vanilla sweetness that you know and love in Barbados rum but leaves plenty of room for layers of fruit, some Guyana-esque tea notes and just overall nuance. The flavours are extremely balanced and the natural 50.4% abv leaves breathing room for the palate to grasp all of them, without giving up any length. Our second Barbados ever and we are very happy we found it! Unfortunately, only 136 bottles came out of the cask. We feel we’ll need to have a serious chat with the angels about their recent behaviour.

Et d’autres qui naissent d’un voyage 🌏🇱🇦.

Celle-ci commence au Laos, au milieu des cannes à sucre, et se poursuit en France, au fil du temps et de deux bois aussi rares qu’inattendus : le poirier et le châtaignier 🍐🌰.

Un peu de folie, beaucoup de patience, quelques détours…
et cette envie, toujours, d’aller voir ce qu’il y a derrière le prochain virage.

Parce que chez Vagabond rien n'est comme nulle part ailleurs, on va continuer à vous surprendre, et à vivre créatifs !

Le Rhum du Laos élevé sous bois pendant 13 mois est enfin là.

The Rum, Baroko and Masskara bottles have all received a fresh new design. The character of each expression is still instantly recognisable, but the bottles now have a more modern and refined appearance.
Here you can see the old bottles side by side with the new versions.

Me at probably the most important weekend of the year. With fever on the coach during the Salon du Rhum Belgique. Nooooooo 😮‍💨🥴😷🤢. I looked forward to this so much. I wish everyone a good salon. If by a miracle i’m better tomorrow, i’ll still try to go, but it does not look good.
