We recently worked with Gelatoni to equip their mobile unit with a complete coffee setup, creating the perfect space to serve quality coffee on the move.

Projects like this are always exciting to be part of, transforming a blank space into a fully functioning coffee destination.

Terwijl onze Rode Duivels zich klaarmaken voor hun match tegen Egypte, trekt onze collega Vic naar enkele Turnhoutse lagere scholen met een lading voetballen. In zijn Belgische voetbalshirt zorgt hij ervoor dat de ballen een mooie bestemming krijgen. Ons magazijn heeft weer wat extra ruimte én de Turnhoutse leerlingen kunnen hun eigen WK spelen. Win-win! Nu nog een overwinning van de Rode Duivels vanavond en deze voetbaldag is helemaal compleet! ⚽🇧🇪

In maart openden Bieke en Els – twee enthousiaste señoritas – de gezellige tapasbar Manero Local in Willebroek. Via de beurs Horeca Expo kwamen ze bij Miko terecht voor hun koffievoorziening. "We hadden meteen een goed gevoel bij Miko en het klikte met Frank, ons aanspreekpunt", vertelt Els. "Zelf waren we al fan van de koffie, maar ook onze klanten zijn enthousiast. Vooral de latte's zijn erg populair."

Ook over hun toestel, de Delatti Cup 3, zijn Bieke en Els tevreden. "Het is een gebruiksvriendelijke machine die veel verschillende koffies kan bereiden, zowel met de Miko Dolce bonen als met deca bonen. En als er toch eens iets misloopt, staat het serviceteam altijd snel klaar."

Bij Manero Local passeren niet alleen de klassieke koffies vlot over de toonbank. "Ons bestverkochte dessert – en volgens klanten ook het beste dessert van heel Willebroek – is onze café helado: een espresso met een bolletje vanille-ijs en Licor 43 crème brûlée", vertelt Bieke. "Ook onze andere speciale koffies, zoals de café español of Irish coffee, zijn populair. We kloppen onze room nog zelf op. De klanten appreciëren de combinatie van goede koffie met verse room, ze proeven het verschil." 🍨

Dat Bieke en Els niet stilzitten, bewijzen ze opnieuw dit weekend met de opening van hun zomerbar Manero Playa, recht tegenover de tapasbar. Ook daar zal goede koffie een vaste waarde zijn, dankzij een Jura espressomachine met verse koffiebonen. ☕
