Lets get to know each other❤️

My name is Shimna Zaeer Abbas, but most people know me as Shimz.

I am a proud mother of two beautiful children and was born and brought up in Thalassery. From a very young age, my love for cooking began—by the time I was in 8th standard, I was already writing down recipes while watching TV. Khana Khazana was my absolute favorite, and I’ve always been a big fan of Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. Becoming a chef was my dream, but life had other plans.

During my graduation, I got married and moved to Bahrain. I worked in reputed companies as administrative and secretary jobs, but after my children were born, I chose to step away from office life to focus on raising them. In 2012, I started a small food page on Facebook, simply sharing my passion.

In 2013, I baked my daughter’s first birthday cake—and the appreciation I received changed everything. From that moment, I began taking orders, and in 2017, I turned my passion into a profession, transitioning from a housewife to a professional pastry chef.

Life wasn’t always smooth. The pandemic and health challenges slowed things down, and later, due to my husband’s job situation, we moved to the UAE in 2023. But here I am—starting again, stronger and more focused than ever.

Today, I’m back to doing what I love: baking, selling cakes, and conducting baking classes—sharing my knowledge and joy with others.

I’m deeply grateful to my family and friends who have stood by me through every phase, supporting and encouraging me always.This is just the beginning—again. ✨
