Myth: RO water is too pure- it will harm the body.
Truth:POU (Point of Use) RO (Reverse Osmosis) water typically contains 10% TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) in the tap water, usually 20-30 mg/L.💧

There are municipal water supplies with lower TDS and no evidence of harm to the citizens over decades!

Myth: Bermuda Well Water is safe to drink and use in a home.💧🏠
Fact: In Bermuda, it is illegal to use private well water for drinking or cooking. Due to groundwater contamination by sewage and high salinity, well water should only be used for non potable purposes, such as flushing toilets, laundry or landscaping. 🚽 🧽 🪴

Myth: Ultraviolet Water disinfection systems are all the same.
Fact: While all UV water disinfection systems use UV-C light to destroy up to 99.9% of bacteria and viruses by disrupting their DNA, they are NOT THE SAME❗️ Systems differ in sterilization power, flow rates, pre-filtration stages and construction quality. More advanced systems offer sensors that measure the light intensity and provide warnings when the lamp needs replacement. 💡💧

Myth: Water tastes fine, so it must be clean
Fact: There are many contaminants like lead, PFAS, arsenic and pesticides that are tasteless colorless and odorless. Water untreated can taste normal and still contain harmful pollutants.
