A proud milestone for DXN in Brazil!
DXN has officially broken ground on our new manufacturing facility in Ibiá, Minas Gerais — marking an exciting new chapter in our journey and strengthening our presence across Latin America.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by our Executive Director and Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Prajith Pavithran, together with the Mayor of Ibiá, Mr. Gilliano Mamao, Undersecretary for Investments and Production Chains of the Minas Gerais Governor’s Office, Mr. Gustavo Costa de Souza, MATRADE Trade Commissioner to Brazil, Mr. Amirul Azman Ahmad, representatives from the Municipality of Ibiá and the State Government of Minas Gerais; as well as the DXN team and local community.
For DXN, this new facility represents more than expanding our global manufacturing footprint. It reflects our long-term commitment to local production, sustainable growth and creating meaningful economic opportunities in the communities where we operate.
Today, DXN’s global network comprises eight cultivation facilities, 10 mega plantations and 14 manufacturing facilities, with another seven facilities in the pipeline. We are proud to welcome Brazil as an important part of this growing global network. 🌎
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Municipality of Ibiá, the State Government of Minas Gerais, MATRADE, our partners, our DXN team and, most importantly, the people of Ibiá for their warm welcome and continued support.
Together, we are laying the foundation not only for a new facility, but for new opportunities, shared growth and a stronger future for DXN in Brazil and beyond.
