Aquaponic Research Centre

Aquaponic Research Centre Progressive agricultural research in The Bahamas. At Goodfellow Farms we are researching the potential of Aquaponic food production systems.

At Goodfellow Farms we have entered the emerging field of Aquaponics. Aquaponics utilizes fish farm effluent as a food source for fast growing plants that symbiotically filter the water for reuse in a closed loop fish and vegetable production system. At the Aquaponic Research Center we aim to give people access to fresh local produce, reducing food miles while strengthening the local Bahamian economy.

We launched our new brand for the farm this week. We are retailing now as bluefields farms still producing the same great products and adding our spring mixes and greens which we have been supplying wholesale to Baha Mar and other high end restaurants around Nassau.
Look out for them in the supermarkets from Friday and support local business.

We spent the last 9 months building another 25,000 sf of Aquaponic greenhouse production.
