Imagine telling Guava Duff: “The sauce is still public. You just can’t get to it.” 😐
No, seriously.
The sauce is right there.
You can see it.
Maybe squeeze through this little side gate.
Maybe walk around that wall.
Maybe ask somebody at the hotel.
Maybe climb a fence. But yes. Technically. The sauce is public.

We couldn’t do that to Duff. 😂

So it does make us wonder about our beaches.
When did getting to the beach become an obstacle course?
Fences. Gates. Walls. Private homes. Developments.
And we’re genuinely curious:
How much access is “access”?
Is a tiny gate somewhere down the road enough? Parking our cars kn dangerous curbs to get a dip?

Should developments be required to leave obvious, usable ways for people to reach the beach?

Or are we making too much of it?

Tell us. Because maybe we’re biased…
but Duff belongs in the sauce. 👀
