Green Hands is a registered farmersâ group founded by three young farmers in 2015. Driven by the passion to promote youth engagement in agriculture, the group envisions âsuccessive farming and sustainable livelihoodâ powered by youth. Green Hands operates an integrated farm focusing on vegetable, dairy and mushroom farming in Tshimasham village of Chukha Dzongkhag.
Apart from the regular farm work, we also focus on marketing of local farm products and other agro-based products. Currently, we operate a farm shop along with online platform to order and home delivery service within Phuntsholing throm. The core idea of establishing the farm shop along with online platform is to institutionalize a sustainable marketing channel for local farm produce like fruits, vegetables, dairy products and other agro-based products.
This online platform is expected to encourage pre-order from the customers which will enable our farmers sell their farm produce directly from farm reducing losses through spoilage and create easy accessibility of local product to our customers. In addition to fresh local products at competitive prices, you can also shop for wide range of other grocery items and imported vegetable and fruits fulfilling day to day requirement of your kitchen.
