Livestock Exhibitor Profile: Mr. Kgotso Carlos Motaung– Motaung Dorpers and Boergoat Stud

We are pleased to introduce Mr. Kgotso Carlos Motaung of Motaung Dorpers and Boergoat Stud, exhibiting at the Botswana Livestock Breeders Conference (BLBC) 2025.

Kgotso Carlos Motaung is a passionate young small-stock farmer with a strong focus on stud breeding, particularly in Dorper sheep and Boer goats.

Together with my wife, Dimpho Motaung, we established Motaung Dorpers and Boer Goat Stud in 2021, located in Mmatseta, Kweneng District. Our farm is dedicated to breeding high-quality Dorper sheep and Boer goats.

From the outset, we invested in superior genetics for both breeds, sourcing breeding stock from within Botswana and beyond. We are proud to be a registered Dorper breeder (BD33).
