PREVENTING HEAT STRESS IN RABBITS

To prevent heat stress in rabbits, keep temperatures between 10°C and 25°C.
In hot climates, provide shade, good airflow with mesh or netting, and frozen water bottles in cages for cooling.
Avoid breeding during extreme heat.
Ensure constant access to fresh, cool water.

Watch for signs like panting, drooling, flattened posture, or red ears, and respond promptly.
