🌟 Incubation Day 1: Starting a New Hatching Adventure! 🌟

We’re excited to begin incubating a beautiful collection of fertile eggs from four outstanding heritage and hardy breeds:

Light Colombian Brahma: Majestic giants known for their stunning white and black-laced plumage. These docile, fluffy-footed birds are excellent dual-purpose fowl, valued for both meat and egg production. 🐓

Black Australorp: Striking birds with glossy black feathers that shimmer with a beautiful green sheen. Renowned as world-class layers with calm and friendly temperaments — a perfect addition to any backyard flock. 🖤

Light Sussex: Elegant white chickens with distinctive black markings on the neck and tail. They are gentle, curious birds that lay lovely light pinkish to cream-colored eggs. 🤍🖤

Boschveld: Tough, resilient South African birds specifically bred for free-range conditions. They offer excellent heat tolerance, disease resistance, and reliable egg production — perfectly suited to our local climate. 🤎

The eggs have now been carefully set in the incubator at the optimal temperature and humidity. We look forward to 21 days of anticipation and hope for a strong hatch rate and healthy, vibrant chicks.
