We are a diverse community working together for the care and betterment of our environment and each other. Current Members include a cosmopolitan mix from mainland USA, Australia, South Africa, Hawaii and Belize.
Amethyst Belize was founded by Eugene Meyer in 2010. After moving to the United States from South Africa years previous, starting over in a new country, his projected retirement looked far better elsewhere. Belize won after much research with affordable cost of living and land prices, English speaking population, and close proximity to the States. The beauty and climate helped too.
