5years ago today… May 16.
We were by the river, just talking, dreaming, laughing, imagining something bigger than ourselves. Funny enough, the river isn’t really the story… the moment is. That was the day the idea for this business became real in our minds.
I still remember the people who were there, the people we told first, the excitement, the doubts, the conversations. Some people are still here, some aren’t, and that’s okay too. Life has a way of teaching you about timing, purpose, and who is meant to walk certain parts of the journey with you. Sometimes people are sent into your life exactly when you need them most, even if it’s only for a season.
Back then, we had no idea what this journey would become. We just had faith, ambition, and a vision. And honestly… we’re still not where I dream of being yet. But if the version of me from 6 years ago could see where we are today, they would probably be in disbelief.
So now I think… if I could dream “this” into reality back then, imagine what today’s dreams can become 6 years from now.
