It’s an exciting day for conservation in Belize! The ECOLENS Summit 2026 is taking place today, March 5, at the Belize City Civic Center from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We are honored to be among 29 entrepreneurs selected for the Belize Enterprise Empowerment Project (BEEP) Seed Capital Award which follows a period of tailored training focused on improving operational efficiency, expanding market reach, and strengthening financial literacy.

We are also proud that this initiative strongly supports women in business, with 21 of the grants awarded to women entrepreneurs. This grant will be instrumental in helping us grow and continue delivering the quality chocolate our customers love.

Home sweet home in Toledo! We are back! Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude as we reflect on an incredible journey at the 14th Tabasco Chocolate Festival in Villahermosa.

What a phenomenal success! We are so proud to have represented Belize on such a prestigious stage. A massive thank you to the organizers for this wonderful invitation especially to the Ministry of Tourism & Mundo Maya Organization.

We couldn't have done it without our amazing support system. A special thank you to the entire Mexico team for their outstanding hospitality. From the hotel to the festival venue, you took care of everything and made sure we were looked after every step of the way. Your service was truly excellent!

We also want to give a huge shout-out to the brilliant high school students who helped Andrea at the Belize stand. Thank you, Fernando, Alberto & Keyla & Ms. Andrea, Ms. Ermilinda, for your hard work and enthusiasm.

This trip was a wonderful success, and we're so grateful for the opportunity to share a taste of Belizean chocolate with the world. Thank you to everyone who supported us!

We are feeling so blessed and grateful for the amazing networking opportunities at the Tabasco Chocolate Festival.

Stepping outside our immediate community is so important. These are the moments where we truly learn, grow, and gain new perspectives. It was an honor to connect with a powerful delegation from San Luis, Guatemala, as part of the Mundo Maya initiative.

We had the incredible opportunity to speak on both a local television station and the renowned La Radio de Tabasco XETVH 1230 AM , where the spotlight was on Belize’s cultural richness and entrepreneurial spirit.

During the interview, Mr. Mike eloquently shared that Belize is a vibrant and inviting tourist destination; its lush landscapes, rich history, and warm hospitality making it a must-visit gem in Central America. His words resonated deeply, reminding listeners and viewers alike of the magic that Belize offers to travelers from around the world.

I was honored to share the story behind Andrea’s Chocolate Journey; a tale rooted in passion, cultural preservation, community and sustainability. From humble beginnings to crafting artisanal chocolates that now cross borders, I spoke about our mission: to bring the soul of Belize to the world, one bite at a time.

Today marked another vibrant open day at the Chocolate Festival in Tabasco!

Andrea captivated the crowd with a short but heartfelt presentation, introducing her brand Andrea's Chocolate Sin Fronteras ("Chocolate Without Borders"). Her passion for chocolate and cultural connection resonated deeply with the audience.

Today was also a commercial hit with dozens of chocolates sold; each one a testament to Andrea’s craft and the festival’s spirit. Visitors were not just buying; they were engaging, asking questions, and savoring every bite. It felt like a true celebration of culture, flavor, and community.

We remain grateful for this experience & can't wait for tomorrow where we anticipate that this event will be even bigger! Stay tuned....

From ancient temples to timeless stories, today we explored Comalcalco and wow, what a gem!

This site is the westernmost known Maya city and totally unique: instead of the usual limestone, they built with fired clay bricks! Dating back to 550–1000 CE, it features temples, a palace, and a ballcourt, with architectural vibes similar to Palenque.

Fun fact: it’s one of the few Maya sites where you’ll find inscriptions on the bricks themselves.

Grateful for every step, every stone, and every lesson on this education journey in Mexico.
