Hey everyone! Just wanted to pop in with an exciting update as we head into the 2026 season. 🫐
So — we have a new name! Say hello to Blueberry Guys! 🎉 After working through some legal considerations, we made the decision to rebrand, and honestly this name felt like the most natural fit. Almost every first-time customer would show up and ask, "Are you the blueberry guys?" — so we figured, why fight it? Would love to hear what you all think in the comments!
Now, for the upcoming season — I want to be upfront about some changes. Last year we were serving each city around 4–6 times over the summer, and while I wish I could bring fresh berries to everyone all the time, that pace just isn't sustainable. This year we'll be scaling back to 2–3 trips per city so we can keep things running smoothly for the long haul.
That being said, I want to make those visits count — which brings me to delivery. Right now we keep our windows tight so we can cover multiple cities in a single day. Opening those up would limit us to just 1–2 cities per day, making it tough to cover costs.
So here's my question -- Are the current delivery windows too inconvenient? Because if so, these would be the solutions that come top of mind:
🚛 Refrigerated door-to-door delivery — would this be something you'd actually use? Let me know if that's worth pursuing.
📦 An extended pickup option — I'd love to offer a way for you to order as usual and collect on your own schedule, but I need your help figuring out the logistics. If you know of any cold storage facilities, local businesses, or creative solutions that could make this work in your area, I'm all ears!
Also, I'll be real — building something like this from scratch means a lot of trial and error. So thank you to everyone who has been patient while we work through it. Your support is what keeps this going, and I promise we'll keep finding ways to make things better for you. If there's anything else you guys would like done differently, I'm open to hearing everyone's thoughts on all of it. Can't wait for this summer! 🙌
