We were busy bees this week with the great weather given to us. We were able to haul manure on 22 acres and cultivate up the soil to get an early jump on spring grass planting. We helped the neighbor out with transferring his chicken manure to our manure lagoon. This will help increase out Nitrogen levels in the manure for our spring application on the fields that plan to be turned over into corn for the year. Karl unloaded a load of 23% Protein Alfalfa and is waiting for a load of Rye Straw. Early in the week Heritage Hooftrimming came and offered their. Service on managing the cows hooves. Tuesday Dr.Eddie spear headed our bi-monthly herdhealth. We had 15 successful confirmed pregnancies and 3 reconfirmed, with an additional 5 pregnancy at our heifer facility
