MacMillans Gourmet Frozen Foods MacMillan's is a family owned business, specializing in market fresh Produce, & Gourmet Frozen Foods. The fall harvest is always a busy season for us.

In June of 1984 Lynda and Roy Martin opened a retail store in Acton Ontario - MacMillan's Gourmet Frozen Food. MacMillan's began as a seasonal retail business operating from May thru December. We specialized in the bulk sale of "in season" "Flash Frozen" Fruits and Vegetables. The store always reopened in May with the new crop of rhubarb, fiddleheads and asparagus. June saw strawberries come into

season and July brought peas and pie cherries. As time went on new products such as our Ready to Bake Fruit Pies, Gourmet Cookie Dough and Muffin Batters became extremely popular. To properly look after our growing number of loyal customers MacMillan's Gourmet Frozen Food store soon needed to be open year round. During the early '90's Roy became aware of a real need for some new and innovative fundraising ideas. MacMillan's Fundraising Division was born with our ever popular Cookie Dough and Muffin Batter. The Fundraising business grew quickly and deliveries stretched right across the country. During this time it became apparent that MacMillan's needed to build a new Cold Storage facility to keep up with the demand. Phase One construction began on our property in 1993, with Phase Two construction being completed in 1995. MacMillan's is very proud to say that we now have a friendly, experienced staff of 40 to meet all of your retail and fundraising needs.
