🐎 As a horseman, Royal Superior is one of those horses you just feel profoundly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with.
From his very first ride under saddle at a Tom Curtin c**t starting clinic—a foundation I will always be grateful for—to his formal retirement, I never lost the excitement of putting my foot in the stirrup. In truth, it often felt like Roy had more lessons for me than I had for him. Together, we built a true, dependable, and enduring partnership.
As a show horse, Roy was the definition of consistency. His dressage scores consistently placed him at the top of the year-end standings, earning multiple championships along the way.
Today, that same excitement lives on. Roy has always been a horse with a big heart, and the greatest joy is seeing that exact same heart in the next generation. It is a beautiful thing to look down at his offspring and feel his remarkable spirit in them.
