Before 𝐓𝐡𝐢́𝐲𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐡 officially opens its doors, we are inviting Seabird Island community members to come and see the space, meet the team, and learn more about the program.

This is an opportunity to tour the home, ask questions, and learn about the vision behind 𝐓𝐡𝐢́𝐲𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐡 — a culturally grounded, bed-based substance use treatment program for young adults aged 19–26. Whether you're simply curious, want to better understand the services that will be offered, or would like to meet the people who will be supporting our young adults, we welcome you to stop by.

Transportation will be available from the Band Office to the 𝐓𝐡𝐢́𝐲𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐡 home throughout the afternoon.

Sharing Information: First Nations Student Program

The FNHA student Program is an innovative approach that provides students, or new graduates, with invaluable work experience towards a career in the health care field or within a supporting function. During the four-month program, participants will work within FNHA and learn different aspects of First Nations health care programs and services.

The next cohort will be in September 2025.

It is an excellent opportunity for new graduates, students currently in enrolled in post-secondary, co-op, or practicum students. Working with dedicated team members and leaders, participants will be joining an organization that believes in both professional and personal growth.

Dandelion Capers 🌼🥒

Ingredients:
- 2 cups dandelion buds 🌼
- 2/3 cups vinegar 🍶
- 1/3 cup water 💧
- 1 tsp salt 🧂

Instructions:
1. Bring water, vinegar, and salt to a boil and stir to dissolve salt 🍲.
2. Pack buds into jars and pour hot brine over 🫙.
3. Cap and refrigerate or water-bath can for 10 minutes (½" headspace) 🔥.
