Cold Start. Strong finish.

Born into a true Canadian cold snap. Baby Tonto made his debut in classic northern fashion. Freezing temps, first-time mama, and a whole lot of grit. He took a quick pit stop indoors to get that tiny engine running…

Once he found his feet (literally), this little dude was back out with Mama Linda like a boss.

Chicks! I had a hen that has been broody for 3 months. I gave up and hatched some eggs. 24 hours after hatching I threw them outside under momma. I didn’t have a plan B so I’m glad she thinks they’re hers!

Looked up at the sky and it was maroon!

Last night, the sky above the farm put on the most breathtaking show. The Aurora Borealis.. ribbons of green and violet light danced over the fields, casting a quiet glow across the pastures. Moments like these remind us why we love this land so deeply. Nature never stops showing off her beauty when we take the time to look up.

Here’s to more nights under skies that remind us how magical this world can be.
