We are officially back in Alberta after an absolutely incredible week soaking in the views and trimming hooves in the beautiful Okanagan! 🏔️☀️
First and foremost, a massive THANK YOU to all of our wonderful clients (both two-legged and four-legged!) who welcomed us onto your farms, rescues, and homesteads. We had a blast visiting some of our favourites like GottaGoat Farm , Forever Home Sanctuary and Star's Piggly Wigglys Sanctuary
There is nothing quite like doing what you love surrounded by that stunning BC scenery! 🌲

We aren't slowing down for long! We are officially back home and diving right back into our regular Alberta routes.

What a crazy week we had!☀️🛻

We started with a Red Deer route with stops in Castor, Stettler, Red Deer, Ponoka, Caroline, Eckville, Spruce View, Water Valley and more.

Then we were off to Edmonton for 3 days. Day 1 we started with a group of 200 goats then days 2 & 3 we had stops in Onoway, Stoney Plain, Drayton Valley, Tomahawk, Thorsby, Calmar, Tofield, Thorhild, Westlock and so many more!

After we travelled up to Lac La Biche for a full day around Athabasca, Caslan, Hylo and a few other stops.

Our final day before heading back South we stopped in Cold Lake, Bonnyville, St.Paul and Mannville.

The day after our Cold Lake route we headed back for another route in Water Valley before heading home!

Overall in 7 days we trimmed just over 1000 critters!💙

So thankful always to have the opportunity to help animals across Alberta feel their best!🐐 To get booked on to one of our next routes send us a PM and we would be happy to add you on!

Amazing morning at Farm Animal Rescue & Rehoming Movement - FARRM trimming goats, sheep and pigs!💙 We always have the best days at beautiful sanctuaries like this one, and getting a behind the scenes look at the tremendous amount of work Melissa and her team does was truly something special. At the root of our business is a deep love for animals and it is so awesome to help people who give a home to critters who need extra care. We had a blast meeting so many cute faces including our #1 supervisor Dash, check out her snazzy wheels!🛞❤️

The Transformation of a Trim: Why We Do What We Do
They say a house is only as strong as its foundation, and for a goat, that foundation is their hooves.

This trim was huge for this sweet old girl!❤️ Seeing an animal struggle to walk, shifting their weight uncomfortably just to find a moment of peace, is the hardest part of this job. But it’s also the reason we show up every day.

Why It Matters:
When a hoof is overgrown, it’s about more than just aesthetics. It affects their joints, their posture, and their overall spirit. Watching the immediate relief after those first few corrective cuts—seeing the weight balance out and the "prep in the step" return—is why we do this.

Sometimes, "making a difference" isn't about a grand gesture; it’s about a pair of nippers and a little bit of patience.

Mobility restored: Allowing them to graze and run with the herd again.

Comfort found: Removing the constant pressure of an unbalanced gait.

Quality of life: Giving a resilient animal the comfort they deserve.

This is the heart of livestock care. It’s not just a service; it’s a commitment to the animals that give us so much. We are so grateful to be a part of their journey toward healing❤️

We’re rolling out to Edmonton and surrounding communities this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!

We’ll be serving farms, homesteads and commercial operations within approximately 2 hours of Edmonton, covering all the little and big critters that need hoof care.
✨ What we trim:
• Goats
• Sheep
• Llamas & Alpacas
• Pigs
• Plus many others!

Reid specializes in overgrowth and recovery, along with routine trims. All equipment is sanitized with veterinary grade sanitizer between appointments.

Whether your animals need routine maintenance, corrective trimming, or you’re just making sure everything is in peak shape for spring, we’ve got you covered!
